Description
This is a building inscription of the year 183/184 found at the Porta Praetoria of the re-built Roman Fort Kastell Vetoniana, near the Roman Limes Germanicus, Pfuenz Germany. I found the translation from Latin to German, this is what it is saying in English (I am not a good translator :-) 'For the emperor Aurelis Commodus Antoninus Pius Augustus, victor over Germanic and Sarmaten tribes, in the fourth consulate. The first cohort of the Breuker under Spicius Cerialis, Governor in the rank of a Praetor'.
