Description
View from opposite the Piazzetta in Venice across the blue waters of the Lagoon to San Giorgio Maggiore, a 16th century Benedictine church on the island of the same name in Venice, with gondolas in the front. A blue hour photography in the late evening, the church and surrounding buildings are beautifully illuminated. The church is a basilica in the classical renaissance style and its brilliant white marble gleams which forms the focal point of the view from every part of the Riva degli Schiavoni.
