Simple elegance... in your ability to capture such a uniquely effective and yet simplistic shot!!! Quite peaceful to gaze upon!! :) Love the light and shadow and the colorful background makes it pop! The hint of green fungus on the rock in front is amazing in that it brings some of the background color forward, making the whole picture work in a harmonious way!! :) You have a great eye for design, elements, color... that's why a great photographer is definitely an artist!!!!! A very fine, simply composed organic image. Just today I watered a plant that has a rock in it similar to this. I picked it up and felt it's smooth surface; my mind returned to the exact location on the Puget Sound where we picked it up the first time. Now we know better and do not remove items from the shoreline, but that was many years ago. Fav/Vote
